Hello everyone, this is Gavin here and I now have a website for my pen business!
We have a number of handcrafted pens that I make personally from Acrylic (a type of plastic), different woods, and even Snakeskin that I cast!

I make all the pens at my house on a lathe. This is what a wood lathe looks like, and this is my lathe
All the pens begin with the materials from the wood to acrylic as a blank. A blank is a 5 inch long by 1/2 inch wide rectangle, that I cut to the right length which is usually 2 inch long blocks that I drill a hole through and glue a brass tube in. The brass tube is a part of the pen kit, there are many different pen kits, the one I use most is a slimline kit since it is the cheapest and one of the easiest kits to make. Here are some photos of some pen blanks and pen kits.

I turn all the pens and finish them by sanding all the way up to 12,000 grit sandpaper. All the acrylic pens I turn end up as smooth as glass. Keep coming back to see new pens, check out our Facebook page, and maybe even buy one since Christmas is coming soon.
